Since, her passion for fire dance has exploded into a colorful world of movement, freedom, work shopping and professional performance.
Anya believes everyone should find freedom of movement within themselves.

Once a workaholic marketing executive Chloe experimented with dance classes to try and restore some much needed balance. Through dance her soul connection was restored. Since that first dance class ten years ago she has transformed and become a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, dancer, Gestalt counsellor and youth worker. She loves the feedom and expression of dance to balance the structure in yoga. She is particularly interested in the exploration of polarities through movement. Chloe has studied Middle Eastern Dance and Trance with Maria Sangorgio as well as creative dance over the past ten years. She is an inspiring facilitator that encourages you to find your joy, dance your truth and shine bright like the sun.

Chenoa graduated from  Ecole Classique , Lindfield, Sydney  and was invited to compete in the Genee awards in London, from there was accepted into The Zagreb National Ballet Company, which toured Europe, performing Ballet classics such as ‘Swan Lake’ and ‘Giselle’, together with contemporary piece ‘Carmine Burana’. Another highlight in Europe was dancing in The Edinburgh Festival in ‘Macbeth’ with Dannii Minogue. When Chenoa returned to OZ she featured in dance film ‘Kick’, partnered by Jason Coleman (‘so you think you can dance’) and choreographed by Paul Mercurio and other commercial work such as Panasonic advertising. Chenoa developed a passion for contemporary dance through performing with ‘Opera Australia’ and ‘Queensland Opera’, in such opera as ‘Turandot’ and ‘Rinaldo’. Her teaching credits include Ballet Australasia, summer and winter schools, Sydney Dance company open classes and Brent St, full time students. She was a founding member of ‘Bondi Ballet’ and also featured in The Australian Ballets ‘Spartacus’. One of Chenoa’s biggest modern movement influences was working with Meryl Tankard for The 30th b’day of the Opera House in ‘Pearl’ where she took on the character of a seahorse. Chenoa’s more recent work includes launching ‘BMW’ for Worthington’s and choreographing ‘Beauty and the Beast’ for Gosford Musical Society. Chenoa received her Fitness instructor cert. this year and enjoys teaching dance based aerobics. Chenoa’s company ‘Liquid Limbs’ performs at corporate events and teaches children and teens classes, focusing on technique and the contemporary genre.

Elise has been dancing from the moment she was conceived. She trained in Sydney with Barbara Chambers, Dance North, Tanya Pearson and at NIDA. She has been teaching and choreographing various forms of dance in studios, schools, theatre companies and workshops for 10 years. She is a qualified classical ballet teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and co-owns KIDANSYS, a successful curriculum based dance program for primary schools.Elise is now focusing on using dance and the arts as a healing tool. She has qualifications in Dance Movement Therapy which has helped her create and develop the nourishing experience of ‘Emotion in Motion’. Elise is currently also employed as dance/movement therapist at Glenvale School.This year Elise is studying for a Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy which is bringing a new level to her work.She is looking forward to sharing the power of dance through Inrhythm Dance. photo by www.soulconnection.net.au

Emma Hughes

Emma started dancing as soon as she could walk. Studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern and Contemporary for over 23 years. Most recently, Emma has been seen in shows for Gosford Musical Society (GMS) at Laycock Street Theatre .  Cast member of shows such as Chicargo, Victor Victoria, Beauty & The Beast, Godspell & played "Anytime Annie" in 42nd Street. Through GMS, she was also given the opportunity to Choreograph the musical "The King and I" which it included at 13min Thai style ballet dance. Emma's career has also given her the opportunity to cheerlead for NRL football teams, South Sydney Rabbitos and Manly Sea Eagles. Her heart now lies with teaching others what she has learnt and experienced through her life of dance.

Françoise was born in Mali, West Africa and trained as a dancer in France and Monte Carlo. She worked in Germany in the early 1970’s before she joined the Sydney dance company as a founding member in 1979 where she remained for the next eleven years dancing in their many national and international tours. From 1990 Francoise commenced teaching dance on a freelance basis at the NASDA College. She also choreographed Ballets for the Laycock Dance Theatre. In 1993 Francoise joined the aboriginal Islander Dance theatre as rehearsal director and appeared with the company as a choreographer and dancer. As a teacher Francoise has also worked also with Bangarra Dance Theatre.

Jita was born into a musical family and has experienced performing since the age of 5. Her father is a classical Indian musician playing sarode, who also leads the Punjabi Bhangara group of NSW from 1976 – 82, a folk dancing group in which she participated. Jita’s training in classical Indian dance began whilst living in England in the 1990’s with Kathak and folk dance for 5 years before continuing in Australia with Pt Ram Chandra Suman. She has also had one year of training in Odissi dance from Arun Menon. Jita has also had training in Kathak Dance in New Delhi.

Born on the Central Coast, Kathy spent much of her youth exploring her backyard, beautiful bush land and beaches.  She naturally found wonder, excitement, support and nurturing in the natural environment and this instilled an intuitive connection to nature and an honoring of the earth & the elements.   This would become a major influence for Tribal FyouSION.  As well as being a qualified Yoga Teacher, Laughter Yoga Teacher and Fitness Instructor, Kathy has a natural ability to dance, express & connect.  Kathy is the founder of Tribal FyouSION and Vibrance, and is passionate about helping people to live, love and laugh.

Nikki Freeburn is an experienced facilitator who offers all modalities with Divine love & open heart.  Her passion and purpose is to assist in the divine connection of all beings through social healing and earth transformation and is dedicated to raising human awareness and consciousness to heal each other and the earth. Nikki has accessed her un-teaching methods through personal experiences and dedicated practice drawn mainly from spontaneous insights. Her methods include Energy Fusion, Creating Your Day, Meditation, Dance, Sound Healing and guidance to accessing “Spontaneous Creation Energy”. She has run workshops and seminars on the Central Coast, in Sydney & Melbourne and her CD recordings are assisting individuals to access their Essence in their own unique way. Self-Transformation and knowledge can create a powerful tool for change, which starts with an individual, then moves to the family and community. Ultimately we each are responsible to change the world we live in, to be in a peaceful, harmonious and self-sustaining environment that can be enjoyed for many, many generations in our future. Nikki is currently launching a world wide support network and social consciousness portal in conjunction with the launch of the film “Whaledreamers” in June 2008.

 

ShameelaShameela

Shameela has been teaching and dancing on the Central coast for over 12 years bringing her experience, knowledge and dance expertise to her classes and workshops. She teaches various belly dancing styles including ATS Tribal and Tribal fusion styles. Shameela has been innovative bringing together her own unique Tribal fusion style using Indian hand mudras, temple poses combined with funky ATS tribal moves in her newly  released dvd "The Eyes of Buddha".  Shameela also performs regularly as a professional dancer on the Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney and is involved in community events as a dance organizer, choreographer and performer. Shameela along with Alexandra also run the Desert Flame Belly dance School teaching regular classes and organizing student concerts.
