OUTCOMES

InRhythm has specifically developed programs for people with a disability or special need through our intuition and regular work within the feild since 1999. We are glad to to say that the programs successfully bring joy, enthusiasm, health and musical skills to the participants. The essence of what we do is to bring people into the present moment so that participants can experience the enormous health and wellness of this.

A sense of community is at the core of what we do a sit's just this that aloow us to feel that we are all connected and all in this together! In the workshop s every person is treated equal...as it ultimately is. In other words, if we are playing a game that involves each individual hitting a solo beat on there drum one at a time we offer this opportunity not only to the clients but also the carers. The result is amazing. What happens is that the carers really enjoy themselves (and they need it just as much as anyone!) but also the clients feel they are meeting the cares in a new experiential way...as equals. This is a very empoering approach as it offer everyone the benefits of acceptance, community spirit, understanding, co-operation and alot more.

We have observed significant changes and improvements in our clients as they become more accustomed to participating in the different music activities within the workshops. We endeavour to bring our unique musical talents, song writing, communication and performance skills to each workshop to tailor make musical programs suitable to our client's varying needs.
