There’s nothing quiet like being at a football match. The energy can be fantastic, infectious, inspiring! InRhythm’s drumming spectaculars will take this type of energy to a whole new level. Our drummers will play a vital role in 7 Waratah games in uplifting and uniting fans to literally drum up success for the Waratahs.

In African and in many other cultures, drumming has always been used to unite and unify people. Drumming is always present in churches, ceremonies of any sort, funerals, harvests, tribal warfare, births, weddings…any special event. Drumming has the power to pull any size group into a unified and united unbeatable team. It’s for this reason that InRhythm has been asked to partner with Douglas Fabian Productions to boast the Waratahs to success.

What Are Boom Whackers…

Boomwhackers are an amazing instrument that anyone can play. Every person gets a colored tube made of plastic (see picture above) that makes a musical note when hit with the hand. There are 5 different notes each making a different sound and they can be combined to make beautiful harmonious music. With the group divided into sub groups we guide them to make rhythms and melodies that compliment each other.

Boom whackers are very simple to use, a lot of fun and very effective in bringing any group together. When groups of people play boomwhackers together a harmonious rhythm and melody is created.

Boom Whackers: A Unique Team Building Event For Miller Insurance

Our client was worried that their team would drift to sleep and lose focus after a full day of power point presentations, as they had commonly done in the past. They had invested a lot of time, energy and resources into this special event held in Bali, so they wanted to make sure that every presentation and part of the event was optimized. They needed an activity that would wake up their team, create team bonding, motivate the staff and make everyone feel great about being there.

Enter InRhythm Interactive Drumming and Boom Whackers…

From the foyer team members were pleasantly shocked to hear the sound of awesome drumming coming from the conference room. The time had come for them to return for an afternoon of more presentations. As they entered the room they were greeted with the groovin’ sounds of African drumming. And on each chair was an African drum and a boom whacker! As the room filled with people everyone naturally started to join in.

The vibe was fantastic.

The team had, without knowing it, become a tribe. Everyone was taking part and naturally joining in. Smiles were on everyone’s faces.

This is team building at its best.

After the 1 hour journey the team had bonded in a way they had never experienced before. And the secret to this successful team building exercise was that every team member was present, in the moment with the entire group. No one was distracted, using phones or looking at the time.
