Create community at your festival!

 

Get ready…take a big breath…we are about to transform your festival! We bring people together like you’ve never imagined, leaving them in a state of exhilaration.

This is electrifying high-energy (full interactive) performance facilitated by Australia’s leading rhythm facilitators. We use impressive African drums and universal rhythms to create a truly tribal experience and/or compose performance pieces that have ample space for interaction with any type and size of audience. Each person receives a drum or percussion instrument and with our professional InRhythm facilitators as their guide the tribe then embarks on an uplifting rhythmical journey.

Our leading facilitators apply exciting and unique techniques that allows absolutely everyone to participate even if they “think” they have no rhythm. Think again! The “jam” builds to a fast pace bringing the energy of the group to unexpected heights, ending in an awesome facilitated crescendo of rolling drums created by the festival goers leaving them connected, uplifted, relaxed and open to each other.

This is a sure fire way to create community at your festival.

A high energy drumming performance by some of Australia’s hottest percussionists! Effortlessly getting your crowd dancing The Drop create a sense of community in an incredibly fun, exciting and joyous way! They pride themselves on creating the most uplifting and memorable experiences for festival goers.

Shows can be completely acoustic or plugged in, roving or still. We can adapt to suit the situation, making it easy to work with this outfit.

Playing high energy percussive dance grooves, The Drop take you on a trance inducing journey. They combine contemporary didgeridoo with chants and rhythms inspired by African, Cuban & Brazilian music. The Drop is the unique combination of talented musicians including Beau Bruderlin, Tim Orgias, Saul Smith and Yani Socratous, Chris Baker, Ben Kidson, Heath Jeffery and more. In an amalgamation of Djembe, Kit Drum, Didgeridoo, Congas, African bass drums, Timbale, bells and shakers, The Drop have the power to instantaneously get feet moving and bodies grooving!

 

This is a time to celebrate!

 

The Drop has performed at Peats Ridge Festival, Earthdance, Earth Festival, Coast Fest, High and Dry, Surry Hills Festival, and numerous corporate functions including the AFL Grand Final.

Festival Drumming Workshops

African Drumming & Professionally Facilitated Drum Circles

 

InRhythm is offers African and general drumming workshops to festivals. They are a fantastic way to get festival goers fully interactive and drum up a great vibe. We can run a series of workshops for adult and/ or children from 20 minutes to 1.30 hours. We can easily have work shoppers perform what they have learn in only 1 hour on a festival stage…If you want to make people feel like they are a part of it then this is the way!

As we have a solid and passionate crew we can take care of the drumming, dance and fire area at your festival. We also have the largest database for drummers in Australia to bring to your festival.

We can create a blackboard style performance tent that allows festival goers to take part and perform at the festival.

We have found that the best positioning of our drumming is in a heavy traffic area where if the occasional “jam” happens its ok. Spontaneous jams are a great way to create vibe within the festival and we welcome them!
